My Journey Testing LetzAI

Updated: Apr 14

In the ever-evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) and design, I've had the privilege of witnessing the remarkable journey from its infancy to its current prominence.

Through this blog, I aim to not only keep you informed about industry news and insider information but also to share my experiences testing new AI software. Since OpenAI's groundbreaking launch, new AI applications have been emerging almost daily. Among the prominent players in the market are the world-dominating Text2Image AI Stable Diffusion and MidJourney, both known for their exceptional capabilities. However, challenges persist, particularly in achieving realistic images and consistent character design.

Enter LetzAI, a promising new AI software that aims to address these challenges by offering consistent character generation with each image iteration. Intrigued by its potential, I decided to put LetzAI to the test.

One aspect of LetzAI that immediately caught my attention was its flexible pricing model. Instead of committing to a monthly subscription, users have the option to purchase image credits, providing a cost-effective solution for occasional users like myself. With approximately 1100 image credits costing around 5€, I found the price-performance ratio to be quite reasonable.

I began my testing by uploading around 20 photos of my face and experimenting with various prompts. While the resemblance to the reference images could be improved, particularly in terms of proportions and the eye area, I was impressed by LetzAI's ability to maintain consistency across image generations.

However, I noted that extreme close-ups or full-body pictures posed challenges for the program's consistency, with the best results achieved with portraits from the waist up.

In my experimentation, I discovered that users with limited Photoshop skills could enhance the results by using LetzAI-generated images in conjunction with third-party AI face swap apps like FaceSwap. By combining these tools, users can achieve more accurate results that closely resemble the reference images.

In conclusion, my experience testing LetzAI has been both enlightening and promising. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in achieving more accurate resemblances and consistent character design, LetzAI represents a significant step forward in AI-powered character generation. As the technology continues to evolve, I look forward to witnessing the advancements that will shape the future of design.
